Admission Requirements:
Two principal passes in A’ Level in English, Kiswahili, Arabic, Geography, History or Economics with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR A related Diploma of not lower than Second Class/GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Science (Education)
Admission Requirements:
a) Two principal passes in A’ Level in Advanced Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Geography with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR A related Diploma/Ordinary Diploma of not lower than Second Class/GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Islamic Studies with Education
Admission Requirements:
Two principal passes in A’ Level subjects including a subsidiary pass in Islamic Knowledge or its principal pass in O’ Level, with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR
A related Diploma of not less than Second class/GPA of 3.0.
Fees:
Tshs. 1,200,000/= per year.
Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication)
Admission Requirements:
a) Two principal passes in A’ Level Examination in arts or science subjects, with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR A related Diploma of not less than Second class/GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Business Studies - (Continuing Students Only)
Admission Requirements:
Two principal passes in A’ Level in arts or science subjects with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR A related Diploma of not less than Second class/GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Law with Shariah
Admission Requirements:
Two principal passes in A’ Level in arts or science subjects with minimum total points of not less than 4.0; OR A related Diploma of not less than Second class/GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Art in Geography and Population Studies
Bachelor of Arts in Two principal passes in Geography and one of the following subjects: History, Kiswahili, English Language, Arabic, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Advanced Mathematics, Economics or Islamic Studies with a minimum admission point of 4.0; or
Foundation programme of the Open University of Tanzania with a minimum GPA 3.0; or Diploma in Geography, Environmental Studies, Statistics, Planning, Economics or Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Shahada ya Awali katika Kiswahili na Lugha za Kigeni
Mahitaji ya Udahili:
a) Mhitimu wa Elimu Juu ya Upili (ACSEE) akiwa na ufaulu wenye wastani wa kuanzia alama D mbili, na moja kati ya hizo iwe ya Kiswahili. Pia awe na ufaulu wa somo lolote la lugha ya kigeni katika mtihani wa Elimu ya Sekondari Marhala ya chini (CSEE). Au
b) Mhitimu wa Stashahada ya Kawaida (Diploma NTA Level 6) akiwa na ufaulu wenye wastani wa WAKIA wa 3.0 katika taaluma za Kiswahili. Awe na ufaulu wa somo la Kiswahili katika mtihani wa Elimu ya Sekondari Marhala ya chini (CSEE).
Ada: Tshs. 1,200,000/= kwa mwaka.
Bachelor of Business Administration
Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, French, Fine Arts, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition. In addition, an applicant must have a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics/ Basic Applied Mathematics at A-Level or a minimum of “D” grade in Mathematics at O-Level. or
Diploma in Business Administration, Education, Marketing Social Studies, Industrial Relations, Economic Studies, Public Sector Finance Management, Information Technology with Accounting or Human Resource Management, Financial Administration, Business Administration, Local Government Accounting and Finance, Insurance and Risk Management, Customs and Tax Management, Freight Clearing and Forwarding, Statistics, Business Management, Procurement and Logistic Management or Banking and Finance with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Language Studies
Two principal passes in the following subjects: Kiswahili, English Language, French or Arabic. Whereby one of a principal pass must be in English Language. or Diploma in Language Studies, Literature or Education with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Bachelor of Arts in Kiswahili (Continuing Students Only)
Admission Requirements:
Two principal passes at D grade in Kiswahili and any of the following subjects: History, Geography, English Language, Economics, French, Arabic, Fine Arts, Commerce, Accountancy or Advanced Mathematics Or.
Diploma in Kiswahili, Education with Kiswahili with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. OR Foundation Certificate of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0
